Two Dollar Pistol is primarily a cover band that features Prime Country, Modern Country, and Classic Rock. They also have a handful of original material and are currently composing music for an upcoming EP. They are based out of Binghamton, NY and play mostly in Central New York and the southern tier. Most recently opening up shows for Nashville country stars Joe Nichols, Easton Corbin, and Tyler Rich.
The members have been playing music in the area since the 1990s in various original music and cover bands. Two Dollar Pistol was formed in 2014 out of a popular local all original rock band Audrey’s Stone and began performing with immediate success. Featuring a set list of upbeat cover songs from the 80s, 90s, 2000s & today & originals that blend the two genres of country and rock. They concentrate on the Prime era of country hits and classic rock with some modern hits thrown in. Songs by Brooks & Dunn, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, and The Kentucky Headhunters to John Mellencamp, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, and Van Morrison. With the addition of today's country leaders like Justin Moore, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan to round out an already amazing set of songs. They like to throw in a few surprises too such as pop hits that everyone knows adding their own twist to the music.
They keep their shows upbeat and keep you dancing. They are continuing to book dates for the rest of the year. More shows will be listed soon. They have merchandise on sale and as giveaways and are looking to get out into a wider audience with their original songs.
